Proof of Story

This collection is the first ever made by Impssbl studio, our creative-tech company based in LA.

It’s, in every way, a pilot in our mission of using Web3 technology to change the way we tell stories and unveil characters.

So, what’s it about?

We made 10,001 characters. Again? Seriously? Another collectible project? Don’t we have enough apes, gorillas, cats and all the like?

Yes, we did. But they have something special about them. Actually two things:

  1. They have a role. They could be heroes, villains, gangsters, time-travelers. Much like in a movie, a novel or a series.
  2. And most importantly, they have a story. A story that nobody wrote. In fact, it’s made by one of the most powerful AI engines in the world. That story could be a memory of the character, a hope, a desire, a fear, a dialogue. It’s in medias res: you get to see a glimpse of the character’s life beyond the work of art alone.
007, one of the 10,001 characters.

The story of your character is unique. No other character has the same. But that’s not it. At the end of the launch, a special club opens up. It’s called The Rooftop at the End of the World, and it’s a community of mischief storytellers. People, like you and me, passionate about stories and their intersection with technology.

Lastly, imagine that your character is the Time Traveler #2, out of 110 minted. And imagine that in the rooftop you meet up with the Hacker #15, out of 250. Each with your own unique backstory. Now, you own the commercial rights to both the work of art and the story. So nothing prevents you from partnering up together and building, from the mini-stories of your characters, a third story. Maybe the starting point of a novel or any other format you can think of.

The Rooftop at the End of the World.

That’s up to you.

Welcome to the first stories in the world made by an AI and curated by humans.
